RPB is moving to Flatiron

Starting the first week of October, Revolutions Per will be taking appointments out of Arrive Wellness in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan. Located on 29th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, the location is conveniently central to those working in Manhattan or commuting in from other boroughs or outside the city.
Arrive Wellness is a beautiful, LGBTQ+ owned multi-purpose wellness center. When looking for the next location, we were searching for a more client friendly experience and a space where RPB could better incorporate movement education, off the bike as well as on the bike. Arrive was founded by Jared Kaplan to incorporate his training and work in both Pilates and personal training, with comprehensive Pilates equipment, a well appointed personal training floor and private rooms for physical therapy, massage — and now bikefitting!
Why is RPB moving?
Gowanus Creative Studios has been an amazing place to start and grow the business. The building team is wonderful, the peer community of artists, makers and small businesses has been unmatched. This corner of Gowanus has been a great place to grow Revolutions Per, find our clientele, and figure out how best to serve you.
It has been nearly three years now in this space and for most of that time there has been an ever growing list of requirements for the next iteration of the business. If you’re familiar with the idea of MVP, or minimum viable product, you’ll understand our process. Bringing a new, different type of bikefitting to market, targeting a different consumer, meant that despite feeling confident in our trajectory, we have had no real landmark to assess our growth. (Read — we are not interested in growing into either a full service bike shop or high tech, high end fit studio).
Fortunately, like in many things, time and experience have helped us to figure out the common denominator between our clientele — clients include very serious riders who have gone pro, race in road, track, triathlon, gravel and endurance categories, and casual riders who ride for fitness, recreation or for commuting around the city.
The throughline is interest in the movement side of cycling and fitting and a desire to work in an iterative, collaborative process focused not just on tangible bike changes but also developing rider understanding. Over 1200 fits in, we can confidently say that our fitting process works very well for the riders who align with this approach.
What can you expect from the new location?
Unlike the Gowanus studio space, the Arrive location has elevators, comfortable waiting areas, a receptionist and stocked showers with towel service. You will be seen in a private room and the fitting process will be largely the same.
If you are someone who is looking for off the bike movement training (Pilates, personal training, PT), it will be possible to schedule additional sessions in the same location with referral practitioners.
Along with the physical move, we are upgrading the booking system. One of the primary upgrades to client experience will be an easy, automated waitlist system — which will create better access to your preferred appointment times.
Pricing will stay the same through the end of 2026, with exception for a difference in how the service sales tax is calculated. Booking options will largely stay the same, although as always we are working to assess how best RPB serve you — how much time we need to give you the best outcomes and for a reasonable cost.
Our saddle library will be pruned and updated this fall focusing on the two standout brands that work for a large number of our clients — Specialized and Form Cycling. While there are a lot of other amazing saddle brands, by narrowing our scope we can ensure we have a variety of saddles across profiles, materials and with widths from 130mm to 168mm, for most riding styles. We will then also be able to retail all of the saddle models in our library, meaning that those who prefer to have a new saddle installed during their fit are able to do so.
What else should I know?
RPB will be offering fits at Arrive Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the remainder of 2026. We are structuring our appointments to offer some flexibility for those coming before or after a workday — appointments starting as early as 8:30am or ending as late as 7pm.
During low season — or roughly November through February — in-home trainer or Peloton fits will be available on Mondays. We will also be offering Pilates based movement sessions for anyone looking to build their strength, mobility or movement knowledge.
Weekend availability will resume at the start of the 2027 season in March. Prior to next high season, we plan to hire and train additional fitters to decrease your wait times for the next season and be able to offer more accessible pricing via apprentice rates.
When can I book?
We are transitioning from Schedulista to Jane App for our scheduling and anticipate schedule going live within the next week. Appointments will be available starting from Tuesday, October 6th. Existing clients will receive an email when the new system is fully functional. If you are new to Revolutions Per, sign up for email updates via the form on the home page of revolutions-per.com.
